Our Story
Sehen was created after our founder, Mayuri Reddy, was illegally let for from a job in Berlin. Scared and confused - she had no choice but teach herself everything she could about German Labor Law. Thankfully, she had a great lawyer - but the process to find them wasn’t easy. And the subsequent litigation really took a toll. After going through the experience, she realised her experience was common, particularly among fellow expats. She created Sehen to be the tool she wishes she had.
How do I use Sehen Legal?
This is intended initially as an educational tool for you to know the ins-and-outs of your rights with regards to German labor law. However, you can also use this as a guide to assess whether or not you have a potential case against a former employer. We recommend you start with the “Basics” section at the top so you have the most pertinent information.
What is Sehen Looking to be longterm?
This is just the beginning of Sehen. We are working to built a fully fledged platform to support folks in navigating various facets of the law - from inheritance to immigration - with a way to support members through full-fledged support in any legal woes.
