Hello, I’m Mayuri

I’m the founder os Sehen Legal. I’m originally from Seattle, USA and moved to Berlin April of 2017.

My journey to starting Sehen sometimes surprises people because I’m not a lawyer, didn’t grow up around lawyers and didn’t grow up with any particular fascination with the law. But when I was illegally laid off from my job in 2020, I had no choice but to educate myself on how to get to justice in order to stay in Germany. After learning more about my rights in German, I came to feel more emboldened to help others understand how the laws were written for their protection.

While Sehen Legal is currently offering educational articles, tips, and referrel services related to Labor and Employment law - we are in the process of building a larger platform.
